Meet Alex
The maker behind Printsy3D. I turn digital files into physical objects using professional 3D printers and precision laser engraving equipment.
Printing & Engraving,
Not Modeling
I’m Alex, and I run Printsy3D. I specialise in 3D printing, laser engraving and cutting. My job is to take your files — or models I find online — and turn them into high-quality physical items.
I work with a range of materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, and carbon fiber composites. For laser work, I engrave on slate, wood, leather, coated metals, and more using my xTool F2 Ultra UV laser.
Whether you need a single item or a batch of identical pieces, I take pride in getting the settings right, post-processing carefully, and delivering quality results every time.
Important: No 3D Modeling
I do not create 3D models or designs. I am a fabrication service — I print and engrave, but I don’t design. You can send me your own STL/3MF/OBJ files, or describe what you’re looking for and I’ll try to find a suitable model online. For laser work, send me your image, text, or design and I’ll handle the rest.
My Setup
I use professional-grade equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality results. Here’s what’s in my workshop:
Bambu Lab X1C
3D PrinterHigh-speed, multi-material 3D printer with an enclosed chamber and carbon fiber capability. Ideal for strong, functional parts and detailed prints in PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, and CF composites.
Bambu Lab A1 Mini
Compact 3D PrinterCompact and fast 3D printer perfect for smaller prints, quick prototypes, and batch production. Great for figurines, gadgets, and everyday items.
xTool F2 Ultra UV
Laser Engraver & CutterPrecision UV laser with a 30cm × 30cm work area. Used for engraving slate, wood, leather, coated metals, and more. Also cuts thin wood, paper, and card stock with clean edges.
What I Work With
Different projects need different materials. Here’s what I can work with across my equipment:
3D Printing Materials
PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, carbon fiber composites, and various specialty filaments. I’ll recommend the best material for your specific use case — whether it needs to be strong, flexible, heat-resistant, or just look great.
Laser Engraving Materials
Slate, wood, plywood, leather, cork, paper, cardboard, coated metals, and painted surfaces. The xTool F2 Ultra UV handles fine detail beautifully. Maximum work area is 30cm × 30cm, so items must fit within that size.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the most common questions I get:
Do you offer 3D modeling or design services?
No. I specialise in printing and fabrication only. I do not create 3D models. You can send me your own STL/3MF/OBJ files, or if you describe what you want, I can try to find a suitable model online for you.
What 3D printing technology do you use?
I use professional 3D printers, specifically the Bambu Lab X1C and A1 Mini. I do not offer resin/SLA printing.
What is the xTool F2 Ultra UV?
It’s my laser engraver and cutter — not a 3D printer. It has a 30cm × 30cm work area and uses UV laser technology for precise engraving on materials like slate, wood, leather, and coated metals. It can also cut thin materials like wood, paper, and card.
What size items can you laser engrave?
The maximum work area is 30cm × 30cm. Items must fit within this size. This is perfect for coasters, small signs, slates, keychains, and similar items.
What materials can you 3D print with?
PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, and carbon fiber composites. I’ll help choose the right material based on what the part needs to do.
How do I place an order?
